Owner and Founder

Thomas Terranova JR., CPA, PFS received his formal education in Accounting from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. Fun fact about Tom, he actually first attended Boston College for Pre Med before deciding on perusing his career in Accounting. Three years after his graduation from Bentley he began the adventure of starting his own business. Tom started Terranova and Associates in 1989 with his loving and intelligent wife, Sylvie. Since Tom and Sylvie opened up shop thirty years ago Tom has worked diligently to cultivate strong relationships with each and every one of his clients. 

Tom takes pride in being able to provide a variety of services to his clients so that whatever the client may need can be seamlessly done through our office. If it can't be taken care of in house, Tom will always figure it out on the clients behalf. 

When Tom isn't in the office you may be able to find him enjoying a long walk... Or thinking about work. One thing that Tom can't live without is his family. 



Senior Accountant

Thomas began his career at Terranova and Associates when he was in high school. The time he spent working in the office truly sparked his interest in accounting. After graduating from St. John's Prep, Thomas went on to study at Bentley University in Waltham, MA. Thomas majored in Accounting with a minor in Psychology at Bentley and continued to get a Masters degree in Accounting with a concentration in Taxation. Thomas has worked his way to the position of Senior Accountant at the firm and is a soon to be Certified Public Accountant!

Thomas has been working at the Terranova office for a decade now. When Thomas isn't in the office (which is a very rare occasion, Thomas is a very hard worker) you can find him traveling. Thomas also enjoys cooking in his free time. During tax season you can always put a smile on his face by bringing him some chocolate. It really helps to keep him going! 



Certified Public Accountant

Yvonne currently resides in Beverly, MA but was born and raised in the Netherlands. She has lived in 4 different countries and 3 different continents! Yvonne always has the coolest stories to share with everyone in the office. 


Yvonne has been with Terranova and Associates since 2019. Yvonne brings over a decade of accounting expertise to Terranova & Associates, including a Quickbooks certification (desktop & online). Yvonne holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant! 

When Yvonne isn't in the office you can find her playing volleyball (which she also coaches), working in her garden and spending time with her friends and family. 



Staff Accountant/Bookkeeper

Sylvie helped her husband Tom begin Terranova and Associates in 1989 and has been a crucial part of the business ever since they opened their doors. Any question you may have, Sylvie can definitely help you to find a solution. 

Sylvie, loves to cook and is a soup making connoisseur. Sylvie is guaranteed to always put a smile on your face. Whether that's making you laugh or by giving you a bowl of her delicious warm soup. 




Office Manager

Ida began working at Terranova and Associates after meeting her now husband, Thomas. Ida is the Office Manager at Terranova and Associates, but she is much more than that. Ida keeps the office running as a well oiled machine. Ida is the one to go to when you need something done. She always makes sure that everyone is tasked and running on schedule. 

Ida has lived in three different countries and brings a lot of experiences to the table. Ida strongly values her relationships with her family and friends and can not live without them. Ida is a very compassionate person who constantly works alongside each of our clients to make sure that they feel not only valued but understand what is going on. 

We truly don't know what we would do without her in the office!



Office Assistant and Payroll Processor

If you are looking for someone to put a smile on your face, Megan's the one! Megan joined the Terranova Team in 2019 and we truly could not live without her. Megan's bright and bubbly personality is always greatly appreciated in the office. Megan will collaborate with not only her coworkers but our clients to help them figure out a solution. She is someone that we always lean to!


Megan began her career in retail management after playing softball and field hockey at the collegiate level.


Megan currently resides in Topsfield with her husband and two children. When Megan is not in the office you can find her rooting on her husband at Iron Man competitions, watching her son's baseball and hockey games and watching her daughter compete in both cheerleading and gymnastics! 



Office Administrator and Marketing Coordinator

Bailey joined the Terranova Team at the start of 2022 and dove in head first experiencing her first tax season. Bailey currently resides in Danvers and is finishing her degree at Salem State University. Bailey handles all the marketing for Terranova and Associates. Bailey also coordinates all the events in the office such as lunches, or her favorite pumpkin decorating for Halloween with the Terranova Team. 

When Bailey isn't at work you can find her enjoying time with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking as well as ordering takeout and enjoying a cozy night in. One thing she can not live without is ice water... you will never find her without her water bottle!
